Obituary of Caleb Thompson
The Caldwell Watchman-Progress, September 4, 1975


Funeral services for Caleb Thompson, 85, of Columbia were at 10 a.m.
Saturday in the chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home with the Revs.
A. B. Masters and Tom Cooper officiating.

Burial was in Welcome Home Cemetery at Grayson.

Mr. Thompson died Thursday at the Caldwell Memorial Hospital after a 
lengthy illness.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Effie Thompson of Wisner; four sons,
Hardy Thompson and Henry Thompson, both of Houston, Texas, Odis Thompson
and Artis Thompson, both of Columbia; three daughters, Mrs. Anna Allbritton
of Springfield, Oregon, Mrs. Josie Martin of Arizona, Mrs. Laverne Estess
of Bossier City; two brothers, Henry Thompson of Grayson and Jessie 
Thompson of Columbia; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Hodges of Monroe and Mrs.
Ada Justice of Grayson; 21 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
