Sherwood Smith and Rev. Julius Russell officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Union Cemetery west of Grayson. Mrs. Womack, 82, of Grayson was born November 17, 1910 in Caldwell Parish and died June 8, 1993 at the Caldwell Memorial Hospital in Columbia. She was a retired bookkeeper with Sears, a homemaker, and a member of the Old Union Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. George E. Womack, her parents, Dudley and Lennie Pankey May, her brother, Woodrow May and her nephew, Johnny Wayne May. Survivors include her brothers: Waymon May of Grayson and Hollis May of West Monroe, her nephew; Don May of West Monroe, her nieces; DeWanna Johnston and Joyce Copeland both of Columbia, Dianne Johnson of Winnfield, Judy McIlwain of Grayson, Margaret Waggoner and Linda Williams, both of West Monroe and several great-neices and great-nephews. Pallbearers will be Mark McIlwain, Terry Johnston, Chris Waggoner, Jeremy Copeland, David May, Jeffery Johnson, Brandon May and Davey Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie McIlwain, David Williams, Greg Copeland, Printes Waggoner.
