Obituary - Alexandria Daily Town Talk, Wednesday, June 30, 1993, P. D-3,
Column 4.
Columbia (La.) - W.R. "Bill" Taliaferro, age 80 of Kelly (La.), died Tuesday,
29 June 1993, in Columbia Heights Nursing Center.  He was retired from the
Louisiana State Police.  Survivors:  Wife, Vaunciel Hodges Taliaferro of
Kelly.  Daughter, Barbara T. Gregory of Kelly.  Sister, Bessie T. Long of
Louisiana.  2 grandchildren.  Services:  To be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the
chapel of Riser & Son (Funeral Home), Columbia with the Revs. George
Ferrington and Bryon Hodges officiating.  Burial: In Old Bethel Cemetery under
direction of Riser's.
