Zeagler, 70, of 711 Standiford St., Monroe, were at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home here. Burial was in the Welcome Home Cemetery at Grayson. Mr. Zeagler died Monday night at St. Francis Hospital in Monroe after a long illness. He was born and reared in the Copenhagen community of this parish, but moved to Monroe several years ago. He was a carpenter by trade. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mary Lee Zeagler of Monroe; one daughter, Mrs. Erva Z. Wilson of Shreveport; two sons, Clarence L. Zeagler and Oscar A. Zeagler, both of Monroe; one sister Mrs. I. C. Strickland of Monroe; three brothers, Ross Zeagler of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, Brown Zeagler of Monroe and A. D. Zeagler of Grayson; and one granddaughter. The late Philip Zeagler of Clarks was a brother.
