Nancy Hill Butler wife of Jesse James Butler of Caldwell Parish
- Mother of Dr. Thomas Marion Butler 
- Grandmother of Thomas Sim Butler
- Great Grandmother  of Robert (Bob) M Butler of Jena, LaSalle Parish

Nancy's dad was Bowen Hill, born 7 July 1792 in Amite County MS near Liberty. 
DOD was 18 March 1843 in Caldwell Parish.  Nancy's mom was Mary Polly Meredith 
born 22 September 1807 in South Carolina dod 10 June 1874 in Caldwell Parish. 
Date of marriage was 12 May 1823.
