File #1 22 Sept 1874 An Unknown person--Accidental drowning, body found by John Green, John M. Smith and B. Lambert--Possibly from schooner Emma Thorton. File #2 25 Jan 1885 Ralph R. Stewart. No other information. File #3 25 Jan 1885 George James--on 23 Jan 1885 his body was found in front of Capt. Charles Sturlese's residence in the sea marsh. No sign of foul play. File #4 19 Apr 1885 Cicero Stephens--body found 19 Apr 1885 about 400 yds from his residence, dead with 9 large buck shots in his neck and breast, supposed to have been shot by some party unknown to us. File #5 4 May 1889 Unknown person, accidental drowning. File #6 9 Aug 1895 Adrian Trahan. On night of 8 Aug 1895, Frank Trahan was riding with his father Adrian Trahan, when about a mile from home he galloped ahead of his son and Frank heard 2 shots. When Frank arrived home he asked his brother Henry where their father was, he was told that he had not arrived home. He was found in the cow pen east of his house, shot. Frank took his pistol and brought it to the house. File #7 25 Mar 1900 Joseph Loot--no guilt attaches to any person. Inquest not necessary. File #8 31 Dec 1905 Mrs. Sophie Roy--on 30 Dec 1905 at about 10 o'clock, Charley Deweese accidentally and without malice did fire a shot gun, the charge of the shot taking effect in the left cheek, about 1 inch below the ear, killing her instantly. File #9 26 July 1907 Unknown person--drowning. File #10 23 Jul 1909 Lezion Daigle and Thomas Murphy. On 20 July 1909 they drowned when a storm blew up while they were trapping. File #11 10 Aug 1907 Jane Dozier and John A. Mayne. On 9 Aug 1907 John shot his wife Jane and then shot himself. File #12 15 Nov 1910 Edgar LeBoeuf, minor son of Oles LeBoeuf, drowned. File #13 19 Sept 1912 Oneil LeBlanc died from being shot with a shot gun in the hands of G. W. Yosette with premeditated design of effecting death. File #14 7 Dec 1912 William H. Beazley was found dead in his bed from natural causes. File #15 19 Dec 1912 Valsant Miller was found 5 Dec 1912 with his gun by his side. His wife Azennie Miller says he was sitting on the steps cleaning his gun. Joseph B. Miller is father of deceased.
