My grandfather, Wiliam Lamar Poole b 6 26 1875, is a son of the above, and brother to Joe. He married Caroline Wolfe around 1900. They had three children, Gertrude born 7 11 1906, died 2 10 1979 in Long Beach, CA, Charles E, b 4 20 1918, died 12 23 1998 Texas, Verna 7 8 1924. Verna was adoprted. She is my mother and resides in Oregon. I know Joe Poole had 14 children, do you have a list of all of them? I only have what is listed on the census in 1920. I believe she was the first wife. I don't know what happened to her. William was born in La on June 26,1875, died June 20, 1967 in Texas. He married Caroline Wolfe, had two children Gertrude and Charles, my mother was adopted by William and Caroline. Mom can remember visiting with the Pooles in Cameron, when she was younger, she is 81.
