Baylor University student Arlene TARTER of Creole has been elected vice president of her dormitory, Allen Hall, on the Waco, Tex. campus. Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. R. Tarter, Miss Tarter is a sophomore sociology major at Baylor. There were three entries in the baby contest of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church Bazaar. They are John Patrick MOORE, Ronald MOORE and Iris Teressa JONES. Tina DUPONT and Dolores DAVIS served as Sweetheart and Queen, respectively, at the Cameron Elementary School homecoming on Oct. 19. Wilson MONTIE turns on the machinery to start the Verdon bells donated in memory of Father Francis BISHOF to toll the Angelus every day. Santa Claus will be at the Sears Catalog Store on Nov. 14, 15 and 16 according to Mr. and Mrs. Tommy WATTS, managers. Children can talk to Santa and tell him what they want for Christmas. Free candy.
