Mr. and Mrs. Howard Dupuis started Monday building their house on the 
land they purchased from Dalza Dupuis and Mrs. Mary D. Logan.
        

Three area young men from the National Guard Armory in Lake Charles 
left by plane Thursday morning for Fort Jackson, South Carolina. They are
 
Neil Granger, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Wasey Granger;
 
Gilbert L. Hebert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Hebert, and
 
Tersal Taylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mervyn Taylor.
