Thursday, April 14, 2005 from the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Holly Beach, Louisiana. Rev. Roland Vaughn will officiate. Burial will be in the Head of the Hollow Cemetery in Johnson Bayou, under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Mr Ardoin died Tuesday, April 12, 2005 in West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital. Visitation hours will be at the church on Thursday, April 14, 2005 from 9:00 A.M. until service time. Mr. Ardoin was born November 23, 1934 to Lindsey and Doris Ardoin in Mamou, Louisiana. He was a long time resident of Holly Beach and was an avid fisherman. He was of the Catholic faith. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict as an interrupter for the U.S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by one son, Bryan Ardoin. Survivors include, his wife, Virginia Ardoin, of Holly Beach; two sons, Robert “Bobby” Ardoin and his wife Tracy of Holly Beach; Nicholas “Nicky” Ardoin and his wife Tammy of Holly Beach; one sister, Pearl Hubert of Woodville, TX; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
