Park, devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend, born at her parents' home in Cameron, Louisiana on April 6, 1934, died peacefully at her daughter's house in Kingwood, TX on July 25, 2005. Imogene graduated in 1952 from St. Charles Academy in Lake Charles, LA and in 1956 from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA. For 24 years Imogene was the medical librarian at St. Patrick's Hospital in Lake Charles. Upon her retirement in 2001 the library was renamed McGee-Park Medical Library in her honor. She was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi, the Beaumont Heritage Society, the Junior League, and Our Lady Queen of Heaven for many years and St. Martha's Catholic Church in Kingwood for the past four years. She enjoyed traveling, entertaining, fine wine, reading, bridge, crossword puzzles and the beach. We will all deeply miss our favorite travel companion and bid her a fond farewell on her last journey. She is survived by her daughter, Anne Marshall and husband Larry of Kingwood, TX; two sons, Sam Park IV of Belton, TX and Jim Park and wife Chris of Kingwood, TX; four grandchildren, Emily Anne Marshall, Laura Elizabeth Marshall, Matthew James Park and Samuel David Park all of Kingwood, TX; one sister, Julia Anne Wilkens and husband John, one nephew, Doug Brown and wife Michelle and one grand nephew, Clayton Brown all of Lake Charles. The family would like to thank Barbara Barnett for all her love and support. We will remain 'best friends forever'. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, July 28, 2005 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM in the funeral home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM and Thursday from 8:00 AM until 9:30 AM in the funeral home. PARKER, Doris Maurine LCAP 10/16/2005 Pg A2 SULPHUR — The funeral for Doris Maurine Parker, 88, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2005, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home, 2051 E. Napoleon St. The Rev. Bryan Schloth will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Mrs. Parker died Friday, Oct. 14, in Senior Village Nursing Home in Opelousas, where she was evacuated for Hurricane Rita. She was a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Sulphur and the Catholic Daughters. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday, with a rosary at 7 p.m., and from 8 a.m. Tuesday. She was born on March 25, 1917, to Gibbs Duhon and Hester Hebert of Hackberry. She is survived by three children, Tim Parker of Texas City, Texas, Becky Fontenot and husband Mike of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Ricky Parker and wife Debbie of Galveston, Texas; three sisters, Fleta Mays and Loraine Vernol, both of Lake Charles, and Deloris Omally of Brenham, Texas; three grandchildren, David Martin and wife Tiffany and Cory and Derrick Parker; two great-grandchildren, Andrew Parker and John David Martin; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rheese Parker; and son, Donald Rheese Parker. PELLEGRIN, Donald LCAP 12/23/2005 CAMERON — Donald Paul “Tubby” Pellegrin, 78, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2005, in a Lake Charles care facility. A native of Dulac, Tubby had resided in Cameron since the early 1940s. He was a graduate of St. Francis de Sales Academy of New Orleans. He served his country in Korea as a Merchant Marine and was a member of Doxey-Vincent VFW Post of Cameron. He retired as a supervisor of M-I Drilling Fluids in Cameron, where he had worked a number of years. He was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. A man of numerous hobbies, he was an avid hunter and fisherman. Although Tubby did not have children of his own, his lifelong friend, Adenise “Ms. Bolo” Trosclair and her seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren survive him. Tubby was preceded in death by his parents, Columbus and Margarite Babin Pellegrin, two brothers and three sisters. His service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 23, in Johnson Funeral Home. Father Scott DesOrmeaux will officiate. Private graveside services will be held in Our Lady Star of the Sea Cemetery. Visitation is from 8 a.m. today in the funeral home. PICKETT, Frank Burnett LCAP 02/09/05 & 02/10/05 Born: January 10, 1942 Died: February 7, 2005 Memorialized by: Hixson Creole CREOLE - Frank Burnett Pickett, 63, died Monday, February 7, 2005 at his residence. He was born and lived most of his life in Cameron. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, and church choir of Sacred Heart and Immaculate Conception Cathedral. He played taps for military funerals and was a member of the John Leger and the Debris Band. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Pickett and Lois Watts and a daughter, Melissa Pickett. Survivors include one son, Frank David Pickett of Lake Charles; two daughters, Katrina Noel Pickett of Lake Charles and Erika Danielle Pickett of Cameron; one brother, Billy Pickett of Springfield, TN; three sisters, Ilene Pickett of Austin, TX, Diane Allen of Houston, TX, and Charlotte Pickett of Austin, TX; five grandchildren. His funeral will be at 9 a.m. Thursday, February 10, in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Father Joseph McGrath will officiate. LCAP 12/24/2005 CREOLE — Patrick W. Pinch, 56, died Thursday, Dec. 22, 2005, in Baton Rouge. He was a native and lifelong resident of Grand Chenier and Creole. He graduated from South Cameron High School in 1967. He was the co-owner and manager of General Marine Services of Grand Chenier. He was the owner of Deep Down LLC and Deep Down Brangus Ranch in Creole. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Farm Bureau, the Louisiana and National Brangus associations, the Gulf Coast Cattle Association and the American Quarter Horse Association. He was a former member of the Creole Drainage Board. He was also a member of the National Cutting Horse Association. Mr. Pinch is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis Savoie Pinch of Creole; one son, Aaron P. Pinch of Creole; one daughter, Jami L. Pinch of College Station, Texas; his mother, Dora M. Pinch of Grand Chenier; two brothers, William J. “Billy” Pinch of Lacassine and Bobby Pinch of Grand Chenier; one sister, Mary Kaye Allemond of Lake Charles; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, William J. ‘‘Bill’’ Pinch Sr. His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, from Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. A scripture service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Sunday, January 9, 2005 at 6:00 P.M. Mr. Poole was born to Milton Raymond and Laura Marie Poole on September 24, 1929. He was a native of Hackberry, had lived in Crowley for 11 years and then in Sulphur for 15 years. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sulphur and had served in the US Marines during the Korean conflict from 1951-1952. Mr. Poole retired from Moble Oil Company, formerly Superior Oil in 1986 as a Production Foreman after 35 years of employment. He loved to ride and work cattle, play golf and fish. Pallbearers wil be Randy and Bryan Gumm, Steve Trahan, John Frey, Butch Little and Glen Vincent. Honary Pallbearers will be Bobby Edwards, Kaki Trahan, Bud Rollins, Lionel Ducote, Leo Vincent and Jimmy Frey. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Pat Poole of Sulphur; one son, Steve Poole and wife Cathy of Carlyss, LA; three daughters, Sandy Campbell of Sulphur, Connie Smith of Sulphur and Toni Thibodeaux and husband Jeff of Lake Charles. He was a loving grandfather to seven grandchildren, Monica and Michelle Campbell, R.C. and Christy Poole, Ryan and Patricia Smith and Anthony Poole and one great grandchild, Marlie Foreman. He is preceded in death by his parents, Milton Raymond and Laura Marie Poole, son, Micky Poole and two brothers, Robert and John Poole.
