Funeral services were held Saturday, Mar. 4, at Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne for Mary “Mollie”
Istre, 61, of Rayne, who died Wednesday, Mar. 1, 2006, at her residence. Burial was in Indian Bayou
United Methodist Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Josie Istre, of Rayne; three sons and spouses, LeRoy and Connie Istre,
and Burl and Barbara Istre, all of Rayne, and Quinton and Heather Istre, of Milton; two daughters and
spouses, Karrie and Samuel Meche, and Jeanne Istre, all of Rayne; one brother, Jimmy LeBlanc, of
Rayne; one sister, Carrie Badon, of Johnson Bayou; 17 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
