Mrs. Poole was born August 3, 1942. She was a native of Grand Lake, where she graduated high school. Mrs. Poole is survived by her husband of 46 years, Paul Poole of Sweetlake; son, Scott Poole and wife, Mitzi of Vinton; daughter, Denise and husband, Darran of Grand Lake; sister, Paula Benoit and husband, Gilbert of Spring, Texas; seven brothers, Rudolph Nunez and wife, Delores of Lake Charles, Curtis Nunez and wife, Velma of Big Lake, George Nunez and wife, Della, Brent Nunez and wife, Shirley, Dennis Nunez and wife, Becky, all of Grand Lake, Jerry Nunez and wife, Juanita of Breaux Bridge, and Kenneth Nunez and wife, Ann of Opelousas; and three grandchildren, Emily, April and Amber Poole. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George W. Nunez and sister, Frances Miller. Arrangements for cremation were handled by Johnson Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at Grand Lake Faith Temple at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 22. The Rev. Andrew Martin will officiate. Photo included with article PRIMEAUX, Kristi Nicole LCAP 03/11/2006 GRAND LAKE — Kristi Nicole Primeaux, 25, died Thursday, March 9, 2006, in her residence. Kristi was a native of Lake Charles and lifelong resident of Grand Lake. She was a graduate of Grand Lake High School were she was All-District and All-State in Girls Track for four years. Kristi worked as an Emergency Medical Technician for the Cameron Parish District 2 Ambulance Service for the past five years. She also worked part-time as an E.M.T. with the FEMA Ambulance Service group in Cameron Parish. Kristi was a member of Sale Street Baptist Church. Kristi is survived by her husband, Benji Primeaux, son, Hunter Charles Primeaux, and parents, Paul and Laura Wasson, all of Grand Lake; brother, Rob Wasson and wife Tiffany of Moss Bluff; two sisters, Cheryl Lynn Leger and husband Mike and Laura Dartez and husband Brian, all of Lake Charles; grandfather, Glenn and wife Peggy Hebert of Sweetlake; grandparents, Robert and Freda Wasson of Oklahoma; great-grandmother, Elaine Hebert of Sweetlake; three nieces; one nephew; and numerous aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Laura Bell Hebert; and niece, Kristin Nicole Leger. Funeral service will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, March 12, at Johnson Funeral Home. Dr. Eddie Simmons will officiate. Burial will be in Prien Memorial Park. Visitation is 2-9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. Sunday.
