YOUNG, Robert David     American Press:       2006 Dec 24 
Robert David “Bobbie” Young, 48, was called home Monday, Dec. 18, 2006, in his home. 
He was born in Lake Charles to the late Leo Paul Young and Mary Lute Young. He was reared and educated in Oakland,
Calif., and in later years he moved to Cameron, La., where he lived until Hurricane Rita. While in Cameron he was
assistant and head coach on world and state champion baseball teams, the Young Guns and the Bad Boys. Realizing he
needed salvation he united with the Bargeman Memorial COGIC under the leadership of Elder Charles E. Porter Sr. 
Brother Young is survived by his mother, children and many other friends and relatives. 
His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 26, in Combre Funeral Home. Elder Charles E. Porter Sr. will officiate.
Burial will be in Combre Memorial Park under the direction of Combre Funeral Home. Visitation is from 10 a.m.
Tuesday.
