Oglethorpe of the above named Parish and State have this day bargained sold and conveyed and do by these presents bargain sell and convey unto William M Gilmore of the same residence for the sum of five hundred dollars paid in hand, the next whereof I do hereby acknowledge all of my right title and intent unto the following Land. The North West Quarter of Section ?? Twenty five-- Township No. Nine Range No. One East containing one hundred & sixty acres more or less lying and being in the Parish of Catahoula State of Louisiana And I do by these present as said for myself as my heirs Executors have and assigned make all of my right title and intent unto William M. Gilmore his heirs Executors Have and assigns forever And I will warrant and defend the said right unto the said Gilmore his heirs and assigns ?
