Chevallier, 57, of Jonesville were held at 2:00 p.m.Saturday at the Utility Baptist Church with the Rev. Vernon Chevallierofficiating, assisted by the Rev. Lloyd Trisler.Interment followed in the Locust Grove Cemetery at Jonesville under thedirection of Young's Funeral Home of Jonesville.He died Thursday, October 27, at St. Francis Cabrini Hospital.A lifelong resident of Jonesville, he was a member of the Utility BaptistChurch, and a school bus driver in Catahoula Parish for seven years. He wasretired from the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of World War II.Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ann Chevallier of Jonesville; three sons,David Roy Chevallier, Steven Wayne Chevallier, and Mark Chevallier,all ofJonesville; one daughter, Dawn Elizabeth Chevallier of Jonesville; hisparents, Len and Arzella Chevallier of Jonesville; three brothers, TravisChevallier of Livingston, Mo., Rev. Vernon Chevallier of Sulphur and Rev.Herschel Chevallier of Knoxville, Tenn.; two sisters, Mrs. Doris Alexander ofShreveport and Mrs. Johnnie Stinson of Elizabethtown, Ky.; and one grandson.Nephews served as pallbearers.
