Funeral services for Mrs. Cavel Duplechin, 82, were held at 2 p.m. today in
St.Augustine Catholic Church here with burial in the church cemetery.The
Rev. Ken Domingue conducted the services.Mrs. Duplechin, a resident of
Basile, died at 1:15 a.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2002, in EuniceCommunity
Medical Center. She was a homemaker.Survivors include: three stepsons,
Donald Duplechin of Basile, Ernie Duplechin and CharlesBellon, both of Lake
Charles; a daughter, Mrs. Gary (Sheryl) Doga of Basile; a brother,
HerbertGuillory of Gonzales; a sister, Ida Rider of Basile; 12
grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Duplechin was preceded in
death by her husband, Widman Duplechin.Visiting hours were observed from 1
p.m. Tuesday until time of services.Ardoin's Funeral Home of Basile was in
charge of arrangements.=========================
