Gene Metrejean will conduct the services.Mrs. Guidroz, a resident of Port Barre and a native of Scott, died at 5:10 p.m. Saturday, February23, 2002, in Clinton. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and dear friendto all who knew her.Survivors include: two daughters, Betty Cox and husband Jim of Clinton, and Sue Power andhusband Billy of Metairie; two sons, Donald Guidroz and wife Versie of Port Barre, and JamesGuidroz, both of Port Barre; two brothers, Walter Credeur of Opelousas and Wilbert Credeur ofPort Allen; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two friends, a sister-in-law Gloria Guidrozand Mrs. Mary Brown.Mrs. Guidroz was preceded in death by her husband Hubert Guidroz; her parents, Raoul andClaudia Schexnayder Credeur; and a son, Roy Guidroz.Pallbearers will be Glynn Cox, Blaine Degueyter, Shane Degueyter, Chris Guidroz, JohnathonGuidroz, Jeremy Guidroz, Mathew Guidroz and Aaron Power. Honorary pallbearers will beDonald Guidroz, James Guidroz, Jim Cox, Billy Power and Wilbert Credeur.Visiting hours will be observed from 2 p.m. today until time of services on Tuesday.
