Services for Dr. Charley Fred Passman, 80, of Jonesville, who died Monday, Feb. 
24, 2003, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, were at 10 a.m. Thursday at First 
Baptist Church with Dr. Ralph Webber officiating.
Burial was in Highland Park Cemetery in Sicily Island under the direction of 
Young's.
Dr. Passman was born April 6, 1922, in Leland.
He was owner of Passman Clinic in Joneville, was a member of Jonesville First 
Baptist Church and a graduate of Sicily Island High School. He graduated fron 
Louisiana State University Medical School in 1952 and was a member of Alpha 
Omega Alpha, which includedthe top ten medical students of the graduating 
class.  After he graduated, he moved to Jonewville, where he practiced medicine 
for more than 50 years.
Dr. Passman was preceded in death by his father, John Carl Passman, Sr.: his 
mother, Nina Stringer Passman; and one sister Monez Pappano.
Survivors include two sons, Bill Passman of Jonesville and Morgan Passman of 
Alexandria; one daughter Sandra Rovansek of Katy, Texas; two sisters, Maudell 
Oliphant of Dayton, Texas, and Wanda McGuffee of Monroe, La.; one brother, Dr. 
J.C. Passman of Natchez, Ms.; six grandsons, Brad Davis, Josh Davis, Scott 
Passman, Beau Pasman, Jon Passman and Will Passman: one granddaughter Nia 
Passman; two great grandchildren, Kade and Madison Passman; and a special 
friend, Roxie Riggs of Jonesville.
Pallbearers were Brad Davis, Josh Davis, Beau Passman, Jon Passman and Scott 
Passman.
Honorary pallbearers were Stevie Oliphant, Brad Passman, Carl Passman and Danny 
Oliphant.
