Ernestine Young Peyton - Services for Ernestine Young Peyton, 92,
ofJonesville were held April 11, 1993, at 2:00 p.m. at Young's Funeral
Home,Jonesville, with the Revs. Eric Peyton and Joe Roundtree officiating.
Burialwas in Harrisonburg Cemetery under direction of Young's.Mrs. Peyton
was a housewife and a member of United Methodist Church ofJonesville and a
member of D.A.R.  She was born November 27, 1900 at Utility,La. and died
April 8, 1993 at Jena, La. after a lengthy illness.Survivors include one
son, Joe W. Peyton of Shreveport; seven grandchildren;17 great-grandchildren
and 6 great-great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband
Calvin S. Peyton and one son ErnestYoung Peyton.Pallbearers were grandsons,
Ernie, Harry, Lester and Phillip Peyton, David andPaul Dew, Bobby
King.Honorary pallbearers were Rick Perry, Dayton Young, William Blackmon
and H.T.Young.(Note:  Ernestine Young Peyton was the daughter of Ernest
