Interment wa at the Palo Alto Cemctery at Mayna. Mr. White, born Dec. 6, 1933, at Mayna, died Sunday, Nov. 13, 1994, ar Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday. He was a member of the Mayna Church of God, He served two years in Korea with the U.S. Army. White is best known as owner and operator of White's Texaco Service Station on Hwy. 84 in Jonesville, White first went to work at the station in 1956 when it was owned by George Hudson. C.C."Red" Wilson purchased the station in 1960, and White continued to work there until taking over the business in 1965 and running it until his death-almost four decades of service in all. Survivors include his wife, Alma Lene White of Jonesville, one son Harvey Ray White, one daughter, Donna Faye Cotton, both of Jonesville. Two brothers of Jonesville, Clifford White and Roscoe White. Five sisters, Pauline SAnson, Martha Book both of Jonesville, Aline "Dean" White and Neva Ivey both of Mayna, Annice Moser of Vidor, Tx. One grandson Lee Edwards of Jonesville. Pallbearers were Jim Crocker, Dane Coleman, Dr. Billy Coney, Buster Womack, J.M."Booger" Trisler and Ron Johnson.
