Source - local newspaper Funeral services for C.C. "Red" Wilson, 68, of Jonesville, were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 31, at the First Baptist Church of Jonesville with the Revs. Bobby Pennington and Lucian Conway officiating. Internment followed at the Harrisonburg Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home of Jonesville. Mr. Wilson, a lifelong resident of Catahoula Parish, was a member of the Jonesville First Baptist Church and was a retired Texaco oil and gas distributor. A veteran of World War II, Mr. Wilson was also a member of the American Legion and a past master of the Four-Rivers Masonic Lodge. He also was a former Alderman for the Town of Jonesville. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Hester B. Wilson of Jonesville; two sons, Roscoe Wilson of Alexandria and Mike Wilson of Jonesville; two sisters, Mrs. Molly Mayo of Monroe and Mrs. Dollye Thompson of Jena; one brother, Perry Wilson of Baton Rouge; and six grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jimmy Kelly, Hubert Simon, Ben LaRavia, Odie Wagner, Charlie Walker and Carlton White. Honorary pallbearers included Bill Daugherty, Leon Doles, Nelson Summerell and Claude Current. (Note: Clifton Carl "Red" Wilson was the son of Roscoe Barron Wilson and Syrena Gertrude Oliphant, born on December 23, 1914 - died March 31, 1983. He married Hester Camille Breithaupt on October 27, 1935 - she was the daughter of Lillie Otis Wilson and Truman Grimes Breithaupt.)
