Obit for Mrs. Jessie Young - Catahoula and Sabine Parish, La.

Many - Mrs. Jessie Young, 92, of Mt. Carmel, La. died Friday in an
Albuquerque, N.M., hospital after an extended illness.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Mount Carmel Baptist
Church with the Rev. Earl Marr officiating.  Burial will be in the church
cemetery under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

Survivors include four sons, William W. Young of Bastrop, Jessie Hubert
Young of Florida, Henry Wilson Young of Brazil and David Young of Mount
Carmel; one daughter, Mrs. James Paul Todd of Albuquerque; one sister, Mrs.
J.S. Chennault of Jonesville; a number of grandchildren and great-
grandchildren.

(Note:  Mrs. Jessie Young was the daughter of William Young and Martha
Elizabeth Hughes, born on September 20, 1882 at Utility, La.  - she died on
February 7, 1975 and is buried in the Baptist Church cemetery in Mt. Carmel,
La. - she married Henry Thomas Young on January 27, 1904 at the William
Young home place in Catahoula Parish, La. - then called China Grove
Plantation)
