Mary Marceline is the wife of James Bowie, FMC, son of James Bowie, FMC and 
Chaney Bowie.  Mary Marceline was a spanish-indian under the umbrella of the 
Caddo Tribes.  She was more than likely a member of the Chotaw Village located 
close to Catahoula, Concordia, or Rapides Parishs.
