James Bowie, FMC to Mary Marcelline Barker,
Married in Catahoula Parish, November 8, 1860.  The marriage took
placein the residence of Rufus Bowie, FMC, who is believed to be
James'brother.  The marriage was witnessed by A. F. Bowie, J. H. Dale,
and SarahJohnson.  They were married by a Mr. Ellis, Justice of the
