The area is now so overgrown with brush that unless a person knows exactly where the graves are, they are impossible to find. More specifically we drove out of Lisbon (to the NE) on the Lisbon-Hebron road. Exactly 2.8 miles outside of town, the road forked, and we took the left one which is marked as Friendship road (no indication of #51, however). This took us NNW across the creek which appears (but is unidentified) on a "zoomed-in" map obtained from "Microsoft Streets and Trips". Exactly 2.4 miles from where Friendship road splits off of Lisbon-Hebron road, there is indeed a "jeep trail" to the right (north from Friendship road). I walked back along this trail for about 250 yards to an area (perhaps 1/2 acre) which is still mostly cleared. Unfortunately, I found no indication of the hoped-for two graves either along the trail, or within (or adjacent) to the clearing. Friendship road eventually joins Highway 9 near Antioch. According to the information found in Claiborne Parish Cemeteries at the Homer Library, a survey made by a Mr. Bill Hightower in 1987 found two graves in McAdams cemetery.
