Court holding sessions in for the Parish of Claiborne State of Louisiana. Your petitioner Ellen Jane HONEYCUT a resident of said Parish and State with respect represents unto your honor that she is the surviving widow of John B. HONEYCUT who departed this life in February 1863 in the Confederate service. That she is the mother of their minor children issue of her marriage with J. B. HONEYCUT & her previous husband James HUBBARD, one by the former husband viz-Isabella I. HUBBARD and [two] by the latter husband viz-Ellen Jane Sarah-Geo. W. T. HONEYCUT. She prays that she be confirmed as ________ Tutor for minor children that H. R. THOMPSON be qualified as under tutor and that a commission issued. J. R. RAMSEY to take an inventory and appraise ment and for all further orders that may be necessary on the premises for general relief. Signed: Ellen J.
