Secondly I give and bequeath to my belove[d] wife Elizabeth Ann STEVENSON five hundred Dollars after which all the Ballnce of money or property belonging to me shall be equaly Divided amongst my lawful heirs. And lastly it is my will and desire that my son in law James DYER and my Son Henry Walker STEVENSON be & they are herein appointe[d] to act as my legal Exeters of this my last will and testament. In witness wheof I have entirely written signed this will with my own hand. This Twenty sixty of September 1854 in the Paris[h] of Claiborne State of Louisiana.
