Bonds Filed May 22, 1873 State of Louisiana } Know all me by these presents that I Francis O. Krouse of the Parish of Claiborne} Parish of Webster and State aforesaid for and in consideration of the sum of eight hundred dollars of which seven hundred dollars cash in paid to me by G. F. Bonds and for one hundred dollars in his note payable on Decr. 1, 1873, the receipt is hereby acknowledged have this day sold and bargained transfered and delivered and do by these presents sell and bargain transfer convey and deliver unto the said G. T. Bond of the Parish of Claiborne and State aforesaid the following tracts of parcels of land with all the buildings and improvements thereon to wit: the West half of the North West quarter of Section twenty-one Township twenty- three Range eight containing eighty acres more or less and the South East 1/4 of the North West quarter and North East quarter of North West quarter of Section twenty-one Township twenty-three Range eight containing seventy-nine 75/100 of acres more or less, and lying in the Parish and State aforesaid, he the said G. F. Bond to have and to hold the above described land to his proper use and behoof forever, and I Francis O. Krouse for myself and my heirs and assigns to the said purchaser and his heirs and assigns will forever warrant and defend the title to the above mentioned land _____ last all troubles _______ or other incumbrances or against the lawful troubles and claims of all and every other person or persons whomsoever.
