Meadors Filed for record April 14th, 1913 State of Louisiana, Parish of Claiborne Be it remembered that on this the 3rd day of April, A.D. 1913, before me E.H. Fortson, Clerk of the District Court and Ex-Officio a Notary Public, in and for the Parish of Claiborne, La., duly qualified according to law, came and appeared for the following persons, namely, Nathan Hatter, Greene Hatter, John Hatter, Lee Hatter, Lue Ella Hatter, and Mary Lou Williams, wife of John Williams, who signs to authorize here herein, being heirs of Octavia Hatter, nee Bugg, and Mary Lou Monk, Ida Lizzie Belle Monk, and Sallie May Malone, nee Monk, wife of McHenry Malone who also signs to authorize his wife herein, being three of the five heirs of Lou Bugg Monk, decd., and said appearers being heirs (grand-children) of Nace Bugg, Sr. and Martha Bugg his wife, both deceased, all residents of Claiborne Parish La. and who severally declared, That for and in consideration of the sum and price hereinafter set forth they have each sold, and do hereby sell, convey, transfer, set over and deliver, with full quarantee of title and with full and complete transfer and subrogation of all their rights and actions of warranty against all former owners of the property presently convey, unto Jno. E. Meadors, widower, of Claiborne Parish, La., the following described property situated in the Parish of Claiborne, State of Louisiana, to wit: All their right, title and interest of every kind and character, in and to the following tract of land, namely the SE 1/4 of SE 1/4 and NW 1/2 of SE 1/2 and SW 1/2 of NE 1/4 and NE 1/2 if SW 1/2 and SE 1/2 of NW 1/2 and the SW 1/4 of SW 1/2 (less 11 acres on south side of the last named forty, south side of last named forty, south of Gordon and Colquit road) all in Section Twenty (20) in Township Twentythree (23) north of Range Six (6) west, said tract containing in all 220 acres more or less, the said several vendors selling all their interest therein, it being the intention hereof to convey to said purchaser all interest of the said vendors in the lended estate of their said deceased grand-parents situated in said Parish and State. This sale and transfer is made and in consideration of the sum and price of One Hundred Twenty Eight and 24/100 Dollars ($___________) being as follows, to each of the said heirs of Octavie Hatter nee Bugg, Thirteen and 35/100 Dollars ($13.35) and to each of the said heirs of Lou Bugg Monk, nee Bugg, decd. Sixteen and 3/100 Dollars ($16.03) receipt of which purchase price is hereby acknowledged by the vendors signing hereto. Mortgage certificate dispensed with by the parties hereto and released me said Notary from all liability in the premises. All due taxes on said property paid as evidenced by tax receipts. Thus done and signed in presence of the attesting witnesses, on this the day and date first above written.
