The children were out at play and had fire at their play-house when her clothing caught on fire and no available help was near. Additional Comments: Clyde Smith was the daughter of N. Peyton Smith and his wife, Elizabeth Myrtle Ravens. Peyton Smith was born in 1854 in Georgia and passed away March 4, 1921 in Webster Parish. Elizabeth M. Ravens Smith was born in 1858 and passed away in 1905. The couple's other children were Maude, Sidney and Leota Smith. Peyton Smith was also the grandson of Morgan Hall, who is buried in Whiteall Cemetery in Dykesville, Claiborne Parish, Louisiana.
