The Advocate has the following in reference to a deplorable occurrence: We regret to learn that a difficulty between Dr. J.F. Gladney, Mr. A.M. Simmons and J.E. Ferguson, occurred near town a few evenings since, in which Mr. Ferguson was severly wounded by a cut. He lived but a short time. We do not know the particulars, and as the matter will undergo a judicial investigation, we refrain from expressing any further opinion. # # #
