Services for Ruby Lois Adkins, 75, will be held at 2. P.M. May 3, 2000, at Rose-Neath's Homer Chapel. Burial will be in Tuggle Cemetery in Homer. The family will receive friends from 5-8 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Adkins died Monday, May 1, 2000, in Homer, LA. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and the Dorcas Sunday Schoool Class. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Adkins was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Sue Darlene Johnson and one grandson, Brandon Erik Johnson. Survivors are her husband of 54 years, Mr. S. E. "Shorty" Adkins; one son and daughter in law, Dennis and Kim Adkins; two daughters and son in law, Linda and Terry "Buck" Tuggle and Peggy Adkins, all of Homer; two sisters and brother in law, Vada Leslie "Way Way" and Tom Sibley of Prescott, AZ and Sunny Sue Crager of Shreveport, LA; one brother , Sidney Earl McMichael of Baton Rouge, LA; her aunt, Ola Mae Thornton of Mansfield, LA; five grandchildren, Sherry Jones, Suzanne Brister, Jennifer Tuggle, and Angela and Amy Adkins; Two great-grandchildren, Heather Hanson and Braydon Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. # # #
