M. Monday, March 5, 2001 at Grace Bible Church, Homer, LA with Dr. John Markley officiating. Burial was at Arlington Cemetery in Homer, LA. a native of Monroe, LA, Mr. Endom moved to Homer in 1926 as a master mechanic for the L&NW Railroad. He retired from the railroad in 1964. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Mamie Anderson Endom; his parents, Fred and Pinkie Endom; two brothers, Fred Endom and Burton Endom; two sisters, Maddie Endom and Pinkie C. Endom Shumaker. He is survived by his brother, Edward Endom and his wife Mary Lee of Ellisville, MS; daughter, Betty Merkousko and husband, Boris of Homer; sons, Charles Endom of Pittsburg, CA and Ronnie Endom and his wife, Karen, of Houma, LA; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Endom gained assurance of his faith and became a member of Grace Bible Church in 1999. He will be remembered as an avid fisherman, a loyal and devoted friend, husband, father, and grandfather, a generous man with a warm, wonderful sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Pallbearers were Greg Endom, Jack Endom, Eddie Endom, Melvin McConnell, Marvin McConnell and Bud McConnell.
