Winnfield News-American  March 1, 1929
James Caraway Collins, the six months old son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. 
Collins who live on route 2, died on Monday morning at two-thirty o'clock 
following a short illness.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. C. C. Wier, pastor of First 
Methodist Church assisted by Rev. J. A. McMurry and interment was made in the 
Union Cemetery Monday afternoon.

Additional Comments:
He is survived by two brothers, Henry Wallace and Malcolm Lincoln, and 
one sister, Katherine Eugenia.  His paternal grandparents are Dr. and Mrs. 
A.P. Collins of Route 2, Winnfield.  His maternal grandparents are Mr. and 
Mrs. Charles Samuel Lee Patton of Lisbon, Louisiana.
