GAINES BURRELL DAVIDSON
Bossier City, Louisiana

Services for Mr. Gaines Burrell Davidson, 70, of Bossier City, will be
held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday March 22 at Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel in 
Shreveport.  The Rev. W. D. Stogner, former pastor of Waller Baptist
Church, will officiate.  Burial and graveside service will be at 4 p.m. at
Hurricane Cemetery near Arcadia, La.

He died Sunday, March 20, 1983, at Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport 
after a lengthy illness.  Mr. Davidson, a resident of the
Shreveport-Bossier area for 23 years, was a retired salesman at Wray Ford and
was a member of the Hurricane Methodist Church.  Mr. Davidson was a U.S. Army
veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Beulah Davidson of Bossier City; two 
sisters, Mrs. Eva Feazel of Arcadia, La. and Mrs. Lorene Sewell of Athens,
La.; one brother, Joe Davidson of Athens, La.
