Burial followed at the Arlington Cemetery in Homer. Mrs. Peterson was born May 5, 1905 to John and Tally Driver Carter of rural Claiborne Parish and passed away Wednesday, March 7 at Homer Memorial Hospital. She was a homemaker who loved being surrounded by her family and friends. She leaves behind to cherish her memory one sister, John Effie Crews of Homer; two daughters, Bessie Bush and husband Jay of Bossier City, and Louise Wolff and husband Rudolph of Claremore, OK; four grandchildren, Joyce Antley and husband Reggie of Homer, Charles Grimsley and wife Marilyn and April Andrews and husband Andy, all of Bossier City, and Linda Fyer and husband Ross of Clinton Township, MI; 11 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Dale Roberts, Michael Roberts, Barry Roberts, David Howell, Jason Williams and Ronald Day. The family would like to express sincere appreciation to Dr. Cliff Salmon and his staff and the staff of Homer Memorial Hospital for the care shown to our loved one. # # #
