Clarence Hollis Martin Dies in Haynesville Clarence Hollis Martin, 29 years old, died at the home of his mother in Haynesville, Saturday, March 3rd, at noon. Mr. Martin was ill about a week and died from leakage of the heart. Funeral services were held Sunday in the Haynesville Cemetery. Mr. Martin was the husband of Miss Naomi Bowman, granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Carroway of Winnfield. Mrs. Martin formerly made her home here with her grandparents and attended the Winnfield school. Two and one-half years previous to his illness and death, Mr. and Mrs. Martin made their home in Sikes, La., where Mr. Martin was employed as driller for the Ohio Oil Company. He was a valued employee of this company for the past eight years. The deceased is survived by his wife, a young son, Hollis Bowman, mother, six sisters and four brothers. The relatives from Winnfield attending the funeral services of Mr. Martin in Haynesville Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Henderson and little daughter, Mildred; Mrs. Blanchard Harper and W. O. Carroway. Those from Sikes attending the funeral services were Mr. and Mrs. Leverett, and daughter, Miss Gates, Mr. Earl Middleton, Mr. Joe Crow, Mr. Brown and Mrs. John Sandlin. # # #
