N. W. Pittan

Athens, Aug. 21 (Special)
N.W. Pittman, 70, rural mail carrier here for a number of years, died today
at a Shreveport hospital after a long illness. Funeral services will be held
at 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, at the Baptist church at Old Athens.  Burial 
will be in the Old Athens cemetery.

Surviving are four sons. M. J. of Springhill, Grayson of Athens, Tim of
Shreveport and Teed of San Francisco; two daughters, Mrs. Ted Martin of
of Portland, Ore., and Mrs. W. F. Stockton of Parma, Idaho; two brothers,
J. H. of Athens and Tom of Shreveport.
