Adkins. He was seventy-five years of age and has spent the greater part of his life in this country. Mr. Adkins was a good man and beneath his seemingly rough exterior, was as honest heart as ever throbbed in the bosom of man. He was loved and respected by his neighbors and adored by a large family of children and when he went down to his grave he left to them a large fortune, not in money but in an untarnished name. Fidus Archates. Additional Comments: LCC was the son of Zaccheus Adkins, Sr. and Piety Prudence Sansing-Adkins. His paternal grandparents were Lewis and Susannah (Horn) Adkins and his maternal grandparents were Charles and Mary Sansing.
