F. Ford Mr. J. F. Ford died at his home near Lisbon, Tuesday morning June 7th, after an illness of sever- (sic) days. Mr. Ford has been in feeble health for sveral (sic) years, having reached the ripe age of 85 years last March. Mr. Ford was born in Alabama and moved to this state in 1856, spending the remainder of his useful life in Claiborne Parish. Hs (sic) served with honor in the Confederate army with others from this parish. Mr. Ford was a consecrated member of the Baptist church. The Guardian-Journal extends its sympathy to his bereaved relatives.
