Funeral services for Mr. Harlan B. May, 81, of Homer, LA, formerly of West 
Monroe, LA, will be at 1:00 PM Saturday at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel, 
West Monroe, LA.  Officiating will be Rev. Sherwood Smith and interment will 
be at Zoar Cemetery near Chatham, LA, under the direction of Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home of West Monroe, LA.  Mr. May was born August 26, 1923 in Jackson 
Parish, LA and passed away November 17, 2004 in Blanchard, LA after a long 
battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his wife: Frances Ida May; 
parents: Harvey and Winnie May; and brothers: Winston and Bill May.  Mr. May 
is survived by his son: Wayne May and wife, Vickie; four grandchildren: Rodney 
May and wife Mary, Randy May and wife Regina, Melena Goldsack and husband 
Peter, Shane May and wife Crystal; nine great-grandchildren: Dyllon, Tyller, 
Allison and Jordan May, Megan and Parker Goldsack, Damine Rambin, Alexis and 
Ashley Harris; sisters: Opal Kelly, Lorene Ptrick; brothers: Ken May, Theo 
May, and Freland May; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.  Pallbearers will 
be Richard Wheat, Ronnie Patrick, Ray Hatten, Ken Hatten, Mr. Alvin "Cotton" 
Jones and Larry Flowers. Honorary pallbearer will be Butch Hatten. The family 
gives special thanks to nursing and housekeeping staff at Doctors Lifecare and 
Odessy Hospice Care. Visitation will be Friday 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
