Submitter's note:  Dawson and Franky O'Bannon moved to Claiborne Parish LA shortly
after their marriage in 1815.  Here they remained and raised their family.

DAWSON [DORSON] O'BANNON  TO FRANKY HARRIS
MISSISSIPPI TERRITORY
AMITE COUNTY
Know all men by these present that we Dawson O'Bannon and William Thompson are 
held and lively bound unto the Govenor of the Mississippi Territory and his Successors 
in office, in the formal sum of two hundred dollars,  which payment well and truly to be  
made we bind ourselves, our heirs, excutors, and administrators, jointly and severally by 
these present.   
The condition of the above obligation is such,  that whereas the above bound Dawson
O'Bannon hath this day prayed and obtained a license to be joined in marriage to 
Franky Harris  if there is unlawful cause to abstain or restrict the marriage for which the
license was granted,  then the above obligation to be void,  otherwise to remain in full 
force and virture.

I did join in holy matrimony  Dawson O'Bannon and Franky Harris.
