WERE MARRIED
On Sunday evening, the 24th, at the home of the bride's father, J. W. Prather, of 
Dykesville, La., Mr. Ardis Norton and Miss Eunice Prather were joined in happy 
bonds of wedlock, Bro. A. J. Wharton officiating. Ardis, is a son of A. E. Norton, 
of Norton Shop, and one of the firm of the Norton Lumber Co. plant at Dykesville. 
If energy and pluck in behalf of the groom, and good looks for the bride, amounts 
to anything, success in life is sure for this happy couple. May they live long and 
grasp every golden opportunity that life affords.
