Talmadge Prince Ashley

     Services for Talmadge Prince Ashley, 82, of Ferriday, were held Wednesday, July 5
at First United Pentecostal Church in Ferriday under the direction of Comer Funeral Home.
The Rev. Gary Howington and Rev. Bobby Ratcliff officiated. Burial followed at Highland
Park Cemetery in Sicily Island under the direction of Comer.
     Ashley died Sunday, July 2 at his residence.  He was born August 26, 1917 in Kingston,
MS to Lonnie N. and Janie G. Ashley. He was a resident of Ferriday since 1963 and a member
of the First United Pentecostal Church in Ferriday. He was an oil field forman.
     He was preceded in death by his wife, Beulah Irene Ashley.
