BANKS, ROBERT EARL

   Funeral services for Robert Earl Banks, 41, of Ferriday will be held
Saturday, July 17, at 11 a.m. at the Mount Sinai Baptist Church in Ferriday.
   Rev. James Beverly will officiate and burial will be in the Ferriday
Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday, July 16, from 6-8 p.m. at Concordia
Funeral Home, Ferriday.
   Mr. Banks died July 9 as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile
accident about 2:20p.m. on La. Hwy. 129 north of Monterey.
   He was born Sept. 11, 1951 in Lorman, Miss., the son of Roosevelt Patterson
Alice L. Banks.  He was employed as a foreman with the Louisiana Department of
Transportation and Development.  He was a member and a deacon at Mt. Sinai
Baptist Church in Ferriday.
