CHESTER M. CHANDLER

   Services for Chester M. Chandler, 69, of Hot Springs, Ark., and formerly
of Ferriday, were held Tuesday, June 27 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Comer
Funeral Home.  Don Tate and John Hall officiated.
   Burial was in Calhoun Cemetery in Calhoun, La., under the direction of
Comer.
   Mr. Chandler died June 24 in Hot Springs.
   He was born January, 9, 1926 in Strong, Ark., to James C. and Callie
Chandler.
   A veteran of World War II, he retired from carpentry in 1992.  Mr. Chandler
was a member of Piney Baptist Church in Hot Springs.
   He was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Chandler.
