ROWENA CHAPMAN

   Services for Rowena Chapman, 81, of Jonesville, were held Saturday, December
28, 1996 at 3 p.m. at Wallace Ridge Baptist Church under the direction of Young's
Funeral Home.
   The Revs. Huey Tarpley and Lawrence Hailey officiated.
   Burial followed at Heard Cemetery in Manifest under the direction of Young's.
   Mrs. Chapman died December 26, 1996 in Alexandria.  She was born April 29, 1915
in Rose Field.
   A homemaker, she was a member of Wallace Ridge Baptist Church.
