Chennault, 84, of Lake St. John will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church in Waterproof. Burial will be in Memorial park Cemetery in Monroe. She died Wednesday [23 Nov 1977] at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Jim [Rosemary] Simrall, 1107 Otis Street, West Monroe. Survivors include five sons, Col. John Chennault of North Hollywood, Calif., Max Chennault of College Point, Ga., Col. Claire Chennault of Ferriday, David W. Chennault of Monroe and Robert Chennault of Lake St. John; two daughters, Mrs. A. Robert [Peggy Sue] Lee of North Hollywood and Mrs. Jim Simrall of West Monroe; 24 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. The body will be at Mulhearn's Funeral Home until 8 a.m. Saturday.
