CLAIBORNE, JAMES 'BUDDY'

   Services for James "Buddy" Claiborne, 79, of Ferriday were held Saturday,
April 18, 1998 at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Baptist Church in Levee Heights, Ferriday
under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.
   The Rev. Willie Warner officiated.
   Burial followed at Vidalia Cemetery under the direction of Concordia.
   He died april 13 at Riverland Medical Center.
   Claiborne was born August 20, 1918 in Vidalia.  He was a retired farmer.
